About National Grilling Month
July is National Grilling Month and each year the USDA seeks to educate Americans about safe food handling, storage and cooking in the great outdoors. Grilling is an excellent way to prepare meats and vegetables that are low fat and tasty. However thousands of people are hospitalized each year due to illnesses caused by food not being prepared, cooked or stored properly. This is a month to learn how to enjoy grilling and keep you and your family safe.
