About Global Astronomy Month

Global Astronomy Month (GAM). organized each April by Astronomers Without Borders. It is the single largest global celebration of astronomy with specific events planned each day beginning in late March through April. Listing of events for 2014 is located on their site here:

GAM 2014 will bring new ideas and new opportunities, again bringing enthusiasts together worldwide to celebrate Astronomers Without Borders' motto One People, One Sky.
Astronomers Without Borders has made a concentrated effort to bring a love of astronomy to persons with disabilities. It has set up specialized programs and tools for the blind, handicap and deaf to allow even those with disabilities to discover astronomy and learn from it. You can access these tools here:
